1. Who we are

Klixon is a marketing service for kitchen and bathroom renovators in Sydney, NSW. We run ads for renovators and book quote appointments into their calendars.

Our ABN is 64 463 248 492. You can reach us at klixonads@gmail.com.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

2. What we collect

If you book a call with us, we collect:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • your business name and the suburb or area you service;
  • anything you tell us when you book or during the call.

If you are a homeowner who enquires through an ad we run for one of our renovator clients, we collect:

  • your name and contact details;
  • your suburb;
  • the type of project, your budget and when you want to start;
  • whether you own the property.

When anyone visits this website, we also receive some technical information: the device and browser you use, the pages you visit, and your IP address.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information through:

  • our booking calendar, on this site and in our booking popup;
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) lead forms attached to the ads we run;
  • email, phone calls and SMS;
  • cookies and similar technologies, described below.

4. Why we use it

We use personal information to:

  • book and hold calls with you;
  • deliver our services to our renovator clients;
  • pass homeowner enquiries to the renovator the enquiry was for;
  • follow up by email, SMS or phone;
  • measure and improve our ads and this website;
  • meet our legal obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we use to run the business:

  • GoHighLevel / LeadConnector, for our CRM, calendar and messaging;
  • Google, for Google Meet and email;
  • Meta, for advertising;
  • Vercel, which hosts this website;
  • Mailgun, for email delivery.

If you enquire as a homeowner through one of our ads, your enquiry goes to the renovator client the enquiry was for, so they can quote the job.

Otherwise we share personal information only where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

6. Overseas storage

Some of the providers above store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We use reputable providers with their own security and privacy protections, and we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in line with this policy wherever it is stored.

7. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. We do not run a Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics or anything similar on it.

The site uses only:

  • the cookies and browser storage it needs to work, such as remembering that you closed the booking popup for the rest of your visit;
  • if you arrive from one of our ads, the campaign details in that link (for example the Meta click identifier), which we keep in your browser for the visit and attach to your booking so we know which ad brought you here;
  • cookies set by the embedded booking calendar, which is provided by GoHighLevel / LeadConnector and is needed for the calendar to work.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the booking calendar may not work properly, but you can still email us to book a time.

8. Marketing messages

If you have booked a call or made an enquiry, we may contact you about that booking or enquiry by email, SMS or phone.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to an SMS, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing klixonads@gmail.com.

9. How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access is limited to the people who need it to do their work, and we use secure, reputable providers to store and process it.

No system is completely secure. If something goes wrong, we will tell you and the regulator where the law requires it.

10. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. After that we delete it or de-identify it.

11. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email klixonads@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

12. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email us first at klixonads@gmail.com. We will look into it and respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we will post the updated policy here.
